So the night started out as night of going out. I was doing homework while Deidre was also working on homework. Wait, that's not how a typically night of going out is? But really, we did eventually start getting ready by doing our hair and makeup and picking out what we were going to wear. Once it was time to leave, we waited outside of El Mirador for Adyam's boyfriend, Vincente, to pick us up and take us to Caguas to get Adyam. Once we had everyone, we headed to a tourist town that is close to San Juan but I guess not actually San Juan. Sadly, I don't remember the name but it was where I stayed with my family when they visited. I got kind of excited because I knew where we were. Although I think I was more excited that I finally got to go to the sushi place that I wanted to go to.
It took forever to park, and we had to keep driving around different streets, so I got to see a lot of stuff that I had missed while my family and I were in the area. I saw the tiniest bike shop that was about the size of a closet with folding bikes! I really wish I could have taken a picture but by the time I had out my camera we were already past it. And drivers here are crazy! We had so many cars cut us off and at times I really thought that the other car was going to hit us. That is not something that I would like to experience here.
But we did eventually find some place to park and went in for sushi. We ended up just getting a huge modge podge of different things that we all shared and then split the bill. It was seriously some of the best sushi I have ever had! And I have had a lot of sushi in my life. But then we headed to Old San Juan for some good old Puerto Rican mojitos.
