The past few days have been so much fun! I have been at Rock USA for 4 days. So far my favorite day was day 1. There were 3 of my favorite bands: Theory of a Deadman, Seether and 3 Days Grace. They were all amazing and I am so happy that I got to see them live! I also got to get only 5 feet away from Rob Zombie! When is something like that ever going to happen again? I also got to hoop at my first festival. I brought in my hoop the second day and hooped to Hellyeah and it was so much fun! Hellyeah isn't a band that I would normally listen to, or hoop to, but it was still so much fun and I was really able to get into and appreciate my flow. I tried bringing in my LED hoop since I finally got them fixed but they wouldn't let me bring it in. I don't think they realized that my first hoop was even a hoop because I had it collapsed down. We were still able to hoop in the parking lot though so we would go out there between acts. I loved hooping inside though because so many people were coming over to watch me and give me high-fives. Some people were even taping me and asking to try. I don't know why they wouldn't let me bring my hoop back in because there was still plenty of room and everyone was really enjoying it. I guess I'll just have to find a different festival to go to that allows hooping. My friend Emily and I are going to an anime convention in November so we're going to rave with our LEDs there. I just love hooping in a place of excitement because it gets me excited and really into my hooping. I also love that people will then come up and talk to me since I am actually an introvert so it's hard for me to go up to people first. But I honored their rules and didn't try sneaking my hoop in anymore and just hooping in the parking lot. While doing so yesterday, a girl came up and was watching me. Turns out she was a hooper as well so I let her use my second hoop I had brought. It was so much fun and I asked if I could tape us hooping together for Instagram. While we were making the video, some of the security guards came up and were making faces as they drove by. Later that night I went outside to hoop with my LED hoop and some security guards came up to me and told me that I wasn't "allowed to play out here." I was hooping in a large open, grassy area that wasn't harming anyone or anything around me so I don't understand what their problem was since other security guards were watching me and letting it happen only a few hours earlier. I just need to find an actual festival that will allow me to hoop because the atmosphere was just incredible! But I hope you lovelies had a wonderful weekend!
