Well it's crazy to think that I only have one more day here in Puerto Rico... I have my suitcases packed and am just waiting until it's time to leave. I still have a couple things to do, but they shouldn't take that long. We're going to have a going away party for me tonight. Then I just have tomorrow and I'm gone. It's kind of starting to hit me since I have almost everything all packed up, but it still doesn't feel real at the same time. I've been living here for almost 6 months, so to think that I'm leaving is crazy. I know I'm going to get all emotional when I finally have to leave but I am excited to be able to finally see my friends and family again. I didn't get to do everything that I wanted to do while being here but I know that I'll have more opportunities in the future. I plan on coming back to Puerto Rico a lot throughout my life. I'm even going to try and come back again in December. But we have been able to fit in a couple more things to do.
We went to a small TV/radio station here in Puerto Rico the other day. I'm not going to add any pictures this time. They're all in my 'Puerto Rico' album. It was pretty cool. I took a TV production class last fall so I had to do everything that I saw in the studio. It was awesome to be able to see everything being done live. We even got to talk to all of the people, and I met a famous Puerto Rican singer. If I get to come back in December, Cuqui is going to take us to the Telemundo station. I'm really excited for that!
After the station, we then went to the Mall of San Juan to mess around and waste time. I've also never been there and Maria wanted to go to Lush. I've only heard of Lush on YouTube so I didn't really know what it was all about. I ended up spending a lot more money than I thought I was going to. They have this lotion bar that moisturizes your skin without the feeling of lotion and I just had to get it. Most of my friends know that I absolutely can't stand the feeling of lotion, so it was perfect. I also ended up getting these toothpaste tablets which are super weird, but I like the way my teeth look and feel after I use them.
Probably my favorite part was going to Nordstrom and trying on super expensive dresses. I couldn't believe how expensive everything was! And of course my favorite dress of the bunch was the most expensive. I loved it because it looked like it would be a perfect dress for my Wicca initiation. But I actually really love just going into stores and trying on dresses for the fun of it. We also pretended that neither of us understood Spanish. The looks on some of the workers' faces were hilarious. But here are the pictures of the dresses.

The final thing I have for you before I leave my room to get ready for this party, was that I dyed my hair yesterday (FINALLY!!). It has a bunch of different shades of blues and greens. Here are the before and after pictures for you. Maria puts waves in it today so it's extra pretty looking!
So I'm pretty much in love! I feel like a mermaid now more than ever! But I have no idea when our guests are supposed to start showing up. I should probably go outside just in case anyone does show up on time. I don't think I will be writing anymore until I'm back, which is why I wanted to try and sneak this little update in here.
